Shottie is a 9 yr old mare out of Mighty Jess. She has had one foal for us, and was a great mom. Shottie is broke to ride and is patterned on the barrels. Her previous owner did run her a little, but I have never entered her. She is currently open and could be bred this year. She hasn't been rode since February, so is out of shape. She stands great for the farrier, and is UTD on everything.

She does need a very soft hand when you are riding her, because she has reared before. She did it once to me and once to my husband. She didn't do it again after, it was almost like her setting a boundary with us. She is great to ride after that. We rode her a little in the hills this winter and also in the arena. She isn't spooky, and really wants to be good!
