VenmoI put new tires on my Honda Pilot and then it died (of course). So if you want to buy my tires, you’ll get a free Honda Pilot 2007. It’s a package deal. (I don’t need a tireless Honda sitting in my parking stall).
Sell the Honda for parts or fix it up. There’s a lot of good parts still on it. I’m still paying off the tires that will have cost me just over $1000, so I need to at least recover that. I hardly put any miles on them before the car died.
If you want to fix it up, this is what you need to know…
- Tires: BFGoodrich Trail-Terrain T/A 235/70R16
- Make: Honda
- Model: Pilot
- Year: 2007
- Miles: Between 282,000 - 283,000 miles
- (I do have the title on hand - clean title)
The goods on it:
- Hitch receiver
- 5 disc cd player (works)
- DVD player (works)
- New tires (over $1000) March 2026
- New Battery March 2024
- New alternator March 2024
- Oil change March 2026
I don’t like surprises when it comes to buying a car, so I am going to tell you the things that I know are wrong with it. Things that I know are wrong with it…
- AC does not work
- Cracked windshield
- Key entry on the drivers side door is stuck. You can not enter it manually until that is fixed. Keyfab or leaving a door unlocked is the workaround for now.
- Drivers side visor flops around (doesn’t lock in place)
- Needs a good interior deep clean
- It starts but when it drives, it powers down and makes a horrible sound under the hood. (it was making the noise for a while before the power-down issue started)
- Needs catalytic converters
- Power steering needs some work (right now it will give you some serious arm muscles)
- Drivers side back passenger door does not lock or unlock automatically
- Back passenger window will go down with the driver controls but not back up. It will go back up from the back door control though.
- Then there’s random cosmetic things and I’m not sure what else.
So if you know anyone that wants to work on a car with their kid, this will definitely keep them busy.
