Food truck with ON BOARD natural gas! $2.40 a gallon to drive and cook!******
40 feet of good taste ! You can put in a few tables inside and have a 40' canopy outside
This is a perfect running 2004 Bluebird bus with just over 100,000 miles. Manufactured to go 300,000+ with John Deere Motor. Drives really well, shifts, starts, everything works. No special license to drive (but drive well), no extra inspections. Seats are removed, aluminum body, rubber floor. 4 huge tanks hold the Natural gas. You can buy REGULAR commercial natural gas appliances and run them on natural gas, which is already on the bus! I will throw in the pressure reducers and some tubing to help. There are a number of stations in Utah to fill up, but you should get a number of days cooking and travel off a single fill-up.
Imagine 40 feet, not some little truck you are squeezed into. I even have fresh water tanks and you could even put in a bathroom for workers. I have those tanks as well and the toilet to go with them. Plenty of room for storage. You can likely fit full sized freezers, full size range and full size fryers and still have room for 2 4-tops and 2 2-tops or more. Inside or outside service with room to store tables and chairs.
I bought it to make into a motor home and bought all the tanks, but my wife prefered a 5th wheel, so it's available. I always wanted to convert it to a food truck because it makes the most sense. If you can get larger parking for it, this is the best and it's not some flunky school bus.
I have this priced at $12,000, but I do want it moved. I will throw in the pressure reducers and high pressure tubing and "Y" blocks to run an entire kitchen on natural gas appliances. That is worth way over $2,000. Also the black, grey and fresh water tanks, toilet and the instant water heater. Again, worth a grand, easy. This will be the only full service food "truck" out there with a bathroom INSIDE for you (not customers). If you can plug this in at night, then all the cooling/freezing can last all the next day. I will also throw in an insulated outside door to put a generator in a sound reducing box built into the bus and either the full sized door can open when it's running or you can plumb in a full exhaust to the roof. You have options with this platform for less than a trailer, let alone the truck to pull a trailer. Find all the appliances for cheap on publicsurplus.com. Do some work, go to work, make it work!
