Component Variations: Some genuine LEGO pieces may vary slightly from the printed manual images, including blue connector pins instead of black and smooth tube pieces instead of ridged. These pieces are functionally identical and the set has been verified against the official inventory.

NO Original CDs / Free Project Ideas: The original CDs are not included, but the legacy NXT software is available online. Buyers can also find many free NXT project ideas, step-by-step building guides, and downloadable programs at "NXTPrograms" though most of those builds are designed for this set plus the LEGO Education Resource Set, so they may require piece substitutions or inventive solutions.
