ApplePayBlaze isa purebred Standard Schnauzer. We rescued her in February from a difficult situation where she spent most of her time in a crate and was underweight. Since then, she has improved in our home. She has gone from 26 lbs to a healthy 30 lbs, has grown about 2 inches, and has become a happy, confident, and affectionate dog.
Blaze is incredibly sweet, friendly, and loves being around people. She is very cuddly and will gladly soak up all the attention you can give her. She’s smart, eager to learn, and picks up new things quickly. She walks well on a leash and is reaching the age where she could make an excellent running or hiking companion. She turned 2 this month (June, we don’t know the exact date). She is crate trained and she will come with her crate.
She does great with children of all ages and has been gentle and loving with our family. She does well with baths, brushing, and nail trims. The only grooming task she isn’t a fan of is having her teeth brushed.
The reason we are looking to rehome Blaze is that she prefers to be the dominant dog and has not been getting along well with our other dog. Because of this, we believe she would thrive best as the only dog in the home where she can have all the love and attention to herself. We do not know how she does with cats or other animals.
This decision has not been easy, and our priority is finding the right family for her. Blaze deserves a home where she can continue to grow, be loved, and be a cherished member of the family.
