ApplePay2 Yonex Percept 97H rackets in excellent condition for sale. Handle is 4 1/4. I would love to sell them both together but will definitely let them go one at a time.
97H, with the H meaning heavy. These rackets are best for intermediate to advanced players who want stable performance. I initially bought them after demoing from the pro at my club. I love how they take on heavily struck balls without shocking my arm. I was having issues with tennis elbow, on my one handed backhand with a lighter, more flexible racket my arm was getting torched. This racket takes all that energy so my arm didn't and I haven't had arm issues since. I absolutely love this racket on my backhand. This is also very much a control racket. This is the racket Stan Wawrinka has been using for years, so he must love it on his one handed backhand as well.
One is strung with Wilson Champion's Choice Duo, a hybrid of Natural gut and Luxilon ALU Power Rough. At 54 lbs for the gut in the mains and 52 lbs for the Luxilon in the crosses. See string specs here: https://www.wilson.com/en-us/product/champion-s-choice-duo-set-rz99790?optionsUIDs=Y29uZmlndXJhYmxlLzYyOTkvNjM2ODk=
The other is strung with Yonex Polytour Pro Comfort, 16g at 52 pounds.
See string specs here: https://us.yonex.com/products/polytour-pro-125-set?variant=46064979443933
The strings on both have been on the rackets a while so they have probably loosened up a little. I haven't played with either racket for probably a year. Neither is showing any string wear, so I'm sure they would be fine to play with right away, but someone who likes to dial it in, you'll want to restring probably.
Paired with the Wilson Hybrid I love the way you can really shape shots with this if you can swing a heavy racket well. I used Polytour on the other racket because the Wilson strings are often out of stock and I couldn't get them at the time. The Yonex string is very comfortable on the arm, provides good power, but slightly less control than the Wilson strings.
Here is a link to all the specs and details on Yonex's website: https://us.yonex.com/products/percept-97h
As you will see, the racket retails for $305 unstrung. After stringing and tax they each cost nearly $370 all said and done.
I'm selling both together for $340 or individually for $180.
