ApplePayThis is going to be an odd listing as I'm not sure if anyone will want this, but I bought this five zone condenser in August of 2024 and installed it at our house. It worked great for the winter and then I noticed a slow leak starting in the summer. I bought some extra coolant and would add a little to get it working again but it would always leak out. Eventually I bought another of the same unit and replaced it as I don't have the experience or tools to fix a refrigerant leak (it was cheaper for me to buy a new unit than it would have been to have it repaired). I haven't opened this up to see where the leak is coming from, but you can see obvious signs of it on the cooling fins and at the bottom of the unit (see photos). This uses the R410A coolant and there is still a bunch in this as I don't have a recovery machine either. I am asking $1000 to see if an HVAC tech can fix it and use it somewhere. I originally paid $3,319.00 so hopefully that is a good deal? If no one wants it, I'll reach out to the HVAC schools (Davis and SLCC) to see if they might want to use it to teach with.
