ZelleSelling this Sanborn Industrial vertical air compressor as-is. The tank is in great shape and just had a BRAND NEW VEVOR 5 HP motor installed — the motor alone cost me $300 and runs perfectly. Basically you're paying for the motor and getting the rest for free.
Why it's listed as repair: It started not shutting off on its own and letting air out of a release valve on the pump part -- a little black plastic cylinder with a ball bearing inside. I replaced the check valve, which is inside the tank, and it ran fine again for a couple weeks. Then it started letting air out of that release valve part again. I replaced that part and no change. I don't know how to diagnose it at this point and it's time to let someone who can figure it out have at it.
