ZelleThe pair of Utah seagulls are each marked on the bottom with molded inset dates and letters: "1847 1947" and "UTAH"; also the Utah Ceramics logo, an encircled C, is part of the mold. The number "17" appears in blue, thick on one seagull and finer on the other. The molding and painting are very finely done. The glaze is crackled all over both of the pieces (one of the upside-down photos shows this best). No other damage of any kind. Created for the Utah State Centennial celebrations of 1947. The statues measure 4 inches wide by 4 inches long by 3 inches high.
