VenmoMeet Cheese, officially Colby Jack's Big Cheese, and he lives up to the name. Cheese is one of those dogs who is genuinely happy. Not just content, happy. He's sociable, affectionate, and always in a slight rush to find the nearest person and collect his pets. The moment he's in your lap he melts into a calm, devoted companion. Getting there is the fun part. He's good with everyone, adults, kids, other dogs, cats. He's even unbothered by goats and chickens, which tells you something about his temperament. Easygoing, adaptable, and genuinely kind natured.
At 5 years old he still has plenty of energy and loves his walks, but he's past the chaos of puppyhood. He went through obedience training in his younger years and has the manners to show for it. These days he mostly just enjoys the day, and whoever is in it.
For anyone who has hesitated on a Cavalier due to health concerns, Cheese has been fully health tested, both DNA and OFA, with no known issues. He was raised in a program that took his health seriously from the start.
Cheese was recently adopted and returned through no fault of his own, the family discovered they weren't quite ready for the daily commitment a dog requires. He settled in beautifully, showed no behavioral issues, and came home to us the same sweet dog he's always been. We're sharing this openly because Cheese deserves a home that's truly prepared for him.
He's being rehomed from our breeding program with a lot of love and a little heartbreak. He deserves a home where he is someone's whole world. If you have that kind of love to give, Cheese is ready for his next chapter.
