I really love this fridge. I really like the smaller access opening from the front to keep the cold inside when you just want to grab milk or butter or something you use all the time and keep in that space. Cools and freezes great, no issues there. Upgraded the defroster unit.
The big bottom most crisper drawer the auto-opening lid broke so i chucked it.
The upper ice maker…these are absolutely notorious for freezing up l. You have to stay on top of them to make sure they don’t freeze up. It works great producing ice, just need to monitor it to keep things from freezing up. I know there is an aftermarket fix for this any do it yourself’er or appliance place can do, but i never did it…you can find videos on it on YouTube. This is why the fridge needs to go…I’m turning my house into a rental and i can’t have a fridge here that’s the tenant needs to worry about keeping an eye on that. The bottom ice maker in the fridge works great.
$300 obo. The newest model of this style Samsung fridges sells for over $2k.
