This grade yearling filly is looking for someone with the time and patience to help her reach her potential. We originally purchased her with the intention of working with her ourselves, but our schedule simply hasn’t allowed us to give her the attention she deserves.

She has a kind, gentle expression and a naturally curious personality. She had very little handling before coming to us, so she is still learning to trust people. While she remains somewhat shy and standoffish, she has already made good progress. She will happily take carrots from just about anyone and is becoming more comfortable with daily interaction.

We clean her stall while she is inside so she can get used to people moving around her in a smaller space, and she is beginning to relax and accept that presence. She watches people with curiosity and is showing positive signs that, with consistent handling, she will continue to improve.

She is being sold as a project horse and will do best with someone experienced with young or lightly handled horses who enjoys building a horse’s confidence from the ground up. She has not been started under saddle and will need continued groundwork and training appropriate for her age.

This is a nice opportunity for the right person to develop a young horse at their own pace. We simply want to see her go to a home where she will receive the time and attention she deserves.
