This is a design popular in the late 1800's to early 1900's. The flat blade profile makes it easier to use and control for whittling or just general cutting purposes. The term Dreadnaught is due to the profile of the end of the blade, which matches the prow of the Early British battleships. The knife is made of high-carbon steel, 1/8th inch thick with a full tang. It's overall length is 11 1/2 inches and the blade is 6 1/2 inches. Shaped and tempered by myself. It has an epoxy resin grip designed to look like a shoreline from altitude- it's beautiful. The resin has a couple of small, barely noticeable flaws, which is why the blade is priced lower than it should be.

This is a beautiful knife that will stay sharp and give you years of service. A leather sheath is available at an additional cost.
