VenmoThis is a smaller version of another blade I have listed here on KSL. This is styled after the Wharncliffe flat-bladed knives popular in the late 1800's and early 1900's. They were popular for whittling and other uses, the flat blade giving more control that a rounded design. The Dreadnaught name is due to the end of the blade design, which follows the style of prow on early British Battleships. This is made out of high carbon steel, shaped and tempered by myself. Blade is 1/8th inch thick, and the overall length is 6 1/2 inches. The cutting edge is 3 1/2 inches. The grip is epoxy resin with embedded aspen burl wood in a style I call altitude shoreline. These days this knife would be great for whittling, opening boxes or letters, or other small chores. It's not recommended for fishing or hunting uses, though it will work for those.
Knife comes with a leather sheath. Thanks for looking!
