Quit mousing, you need a controller. The Mackie MCU Pro is one of the standards. Works with almost every DAW and computer over USB (preferred) and MIDI. READ CAREFULLY: Now this one functions, but has some quirks. The videos are with Digital Performer, but I also used it with ProTools to similar effect. The right side of the unit functions as it should, but the LEDs don’t light. Video SCR 1B https://vimeo.com/1199831832 shows Start, Stop, Scroll to Markers, etc. This part is the handiest. The motorized faders work- they’re fast little buggers, but for some reason after you make a move, physically default back to 0. The DAW remains where you set the fader. (see video SCR 2B https://vimeo.com/1199831833). I would say it is 85% functional. So you won’t be disappointed, I’m listing it as Parts. It actually is very good quality in design and manufacture. New they list for between $1089 and $1400, so this is a fraction of the price for at least basic control. Sold As Described, As Is. Available in the Weber area.
