My brother purchased this, and a second identical case, of Winchester M855 Green Tip 5.56 ammo; with the 62 (not 55) grain bullets at a Crossroads of the West Gun show a couple of years back.

I am keeping the partially opened box (still has 800 rounds in it), but will never shoot this sealed second case of 1000 rounds.

I know he paid $719.95 + tax for it from the Wholesale Ammo Distributor there (prices were higher back then and ammo harder to get). Currently, Scheels has this exact 1000 round case for $629.99 + tax.

Therefore, my asking price of $550.00 (which with tax is more than a $100 less than Scheels and $200.00 less than what my brother original paid for it) seems like a very fair price.
