The books were bought is a large box set, and we already had volumes 1-9, and did not want duplicates. Great books, my kids loved reading them, a very interesting journey of a boy ninja looking to earn the respect of everyone in his village by becoming the leader of his village. Books are practically new, with the slight exception of book 1, witch was read once, and has a slight bend in the left corner. The other 2 are brand new.
