Pioneer VSX-4700S Audio/Video Stereo Receiver (1991)

Excellent condition, late-vintage Pioneer receiver with 105 watts per channel. It features an early Dolby Surround with multi-channel matrix capability for home theater duty, but I used it for 2 channel stereo listening only and it performs great. Nice analog sound with plenty of power (weighs 22lbs). Pre Out/Main In jacks are confirmed working as I've used it both as amp and preamp only configuration. Tons of inputs including CD, Tape/DAT, Tape 2, CVD, VCR 1, VCR 2, and a dedicated Phono stage for a record player. Has Bass/Treble tone controls, A/B speaker switching and headphone output. If you're looking for the classic analog sound this fits the bill.

• Features factory "Pre-Out" and "Main-In" rear jumpers. You can split the unit to use it as a dedicated 105W power amp, or use its preamp section to run an external amplifier.
• Classic motorized volume knob works perfectly with remote. No remote is included, but any Pioneer one will likely control basic functions as my newer, 2000s Pioneer remote does.
• Classic late 80's/early 90's aesthetic with large amber display and aluminum faceplate (not plastic).
• Made in Japan
