The lacquer is original and has the regular wear and tear of something of this vintage, but overall is in good shape. It was recently looked over by a technician and is in great playing condition as-is, though some pads are a little sticky due to age. Would recommend getting it setup and/or overhauled by your preferred technician to dial it in to your desired specifications and get the best longevity out of it.
