No waste solid shampoo bars can replace your shampoo, conditioner and body bar.
These 3in1bars are $6 each for a 3.2 to 3.5 oz bar
Available in unscented, rosemary, tea tree, and lavender. For the most part, the scent is actually quite mild as I use the essential oils more for the benefits it offers to hair and scalp as opposed to being a fragrance bar. The rosemary bars are made from drying and grinding the rosemary leaves into a powder and then infusing them in the olive oil.
If you need a little wooden soap bar tray to help it dry out between uses, I have those available for $4 each
Thank you again for your interest.
Below is the ingredient list and tips for using shampoo bars
Tallow Olive oil Coconut oil Jojoba oil Castro oil Sunflower oil Castile soap Wild mint infused water Lye (which gets fully absorbed in the curing process)
Local pickup in Hooper, SLC or South Jordan.
Shipping available
*Additional items that we we make on the homestead are refillable natural deodorant, sunscreen, diaper cream, as well as detox soap and solid lotion bars
Transitioning to shampoo bars could take a few days up to a few weeks for your hair, to regulate from being stripped of its natural oils and then artificial conditioners being applied.
Our hair and face prefer cooler waters for overall health. So if you can rinse off in a cooler temperature, it will be more beneficial. Remember that your shampoo bar can be used as shampoo, conditioner and body soap.
If your hair runs oily, it is recommended to wash your hair less frequently to let the oils self regulate.
The following tips could be used as needed. For example, I only need to do this every 5-6 weeks: If your hair tends to run dry, you can apply a leave in apple cider vinegar/ water solution...don't worry you won't smell like a salad, and it will be easier to brush your hair.
If your hair is extra dry, you may want to put coconut or olive oil on the ends of your hair about thirty minutes before washing.
