Complete JCW cat-back exhaust for the Gen1 R53 mini cooper in good condition. It is used so don't expect perfection. It's the complete cat-back with the resonator, chrome mufflers and tips. I did cut it in two spots where it splits into the Y but will include 2 band clamps. You could use the clamps, weld it or have it welded.
This was originally made for the pre-face lift version (2002-2004) of the Mini Cooper S R53 but will fit the face lift version if the center support hangers are bent 90 degrees. These pre-face lift exhausts are no longer made and what OEM JCW exhausts you can buy are over $2k (like at ECS).
This will also fit on a Mini R52 (convertible) but the Y pipe hangs down past the tension support bars that are mounted on to the subframe. So you cannot use that pipe unless it is modified. You could use your existing exhaust pipe that does clear it and either have the resonator welded/clamped in or not run the resonator. You would cut the existing exhaust pipe at the subframe and weld in the Y pipe from this exhaust then clamp or weld it to the mufflers. The mufflers will hang the exact same way they do on the R53. They did end up making this exhaust specifically for the R52 where they ovaled the pipe and raised it to clear the support bars but this setup can be used with a little work.
