ZelleMacGregor 25-foot sailboat is easy to trailer and with its swing-keel design is great for years when Utah lakes are full or for the bad years when water depths are low. She drafts 1-foot six-inches, so you can still get her out on Utah lake at the end of dry seasons or during drought years. Some additional features of the MacGregor and this boat include: a pop-top cabin that allows for standing in the cabin. Sails included are a Main sail, a 150 Genoa Jib, a 100 Jib, and a Spinnaker all in decent to excellent condition.
The boat has seen some experience with some interior paint peeling, but she is a solid boat and in good condition for sailing. It has a mast raising system and the control lines are all run back to the cabin so she can be run solo if you are a skilled enough sailor. She’s a great beginner boat as well and great for families as she’s super stable even in high winds. (You basically cannot tip her over.) I’ve redone most of the interior wiring and added some additional lighting to the mast (but some additional work needs to be done to pass the wiring through the deck as a new mast plate was installed to replace the original one with a much more durable stainless steel mast plate).
There are also parts to add lazy jacks and a downhaul for the mainsail.
The trailer that comes with her is the original trailer that came with the boat.
The 2-stroke 6 hp Johnson Motor (I believe is a 1996 model, but I’m not sure). I just know it has never failed to start and is completely reliable.
