Unfortunately we have to try to rehome our dog. He is free to a good home, preferably with a yard. The reason we have to get rid of him is because he attacked my family’s dog. We’d like to give him to someone who either has no other dogs or no small dogs or only female dogs. He is neutered!! He will come with his heavy duty kennel, food bowl, and a small bag of food so if you change foods you can do it correctly:)
•This is a long description but we really care about him and want to make sure he finds his forever home•
Oso (awe-so) is 1 years old turning 2 years old on november 14th. When walking on leash he likes to pull but does pretty good with a prong collar on. We’ve taken him to training classes that has helped alittle. He knows how to sit, come, stay and lay down. He’s good with female dogs and has grown up with an extremely large dog. He absolutely loves children, sometimes he can get too excited so you’ll have to correct him and he’ll instantly stop. He can be standoffish when meeting new people but once he warms up to the new people he’ll love them. He is the type of dog where he needs attention. He can’t be left in a room by himself or he’ll get into anything. He loves his toys, especially squeaky balls and noisy toys but hard toys are definitely the toys that will last him the longest. He always wants to be by your side. He has crate anxiety so i’d recommend a heavy duty kennel, he feels more safe in them. He absolutely loves running, jumping onto objects, and playing. He can clear 4ft fences so i’d recommend supervision or a tall fence he can’t see through. Loves car drives with the windows down. When driving in a car with him and the windows are up he’ll usually cry until 30minutes to an hour and he’ll stop. When he’s calm he is the sweetest and biggest cuddlier. He will always try to have at least one part of his body on you, sometimes he’ll completely lay on your chest. When he’s outside he likes to not listen because he gets distracted. When he’s on leash outside and sees a dog that’s a few feet away he’ll start barking and trying to pull. I’ve found walking away helps. He’ll still be on alert though. We’ve noticed he picks and chooses with what male dogs he likes and doesn’t like. Oso doesn’t small dogs anymore after he got attacked by one when he was a puppy. He is the biggest blanket hog. He loves laying on soft blankets. Oso is a little crossed eyed and has a kink in his tail but the vet has never said anything about it being an issue. He is up to date on his shots.
