Why hard shell: The molded HDPE shell takes impacts that crush soft bags. The case splits into two halves for easy loading, and the internal dividers keep your frame isolated from the wheels so nothing rubs or rotates in transit. It's saved more than a few framesets from "gorilla at the conveyor belt" moments.
Complete set — nothing missing:
- Full interior padding and frame/wheel dividers
- Both integrated skate wheels — rolls upright through an airport like rolling luggage
- All external cinch straps with working buckles
- Functional latches + TSA-approved combination locks
- Reinforced top grab handle
Condition: Mechanically excellent — closes tight, latches and locks all work, wheels roll true, no cracks or structural damage. Honest cosmetic wear from garage storage (surface scuffs, some grime). Previous-owner name marked on the shell, comes off easily with alcohol if you'd rather. This thing has clearly done its job and is ready for many more trips.
