I built this cat haven three years ago. I built it for some community cats that lived in the neighborhood. Temps here in the Kamas Valley can drop below zero on many occasions, so I built it with warmth in mind. This haven is very well insulated, and offers three "carpeted" floors, a heat controlled ceramic dog heater, a cat door, two heated (by heating pads) rooms for cats to spend time alone. It also has two, easy to open doors for cleaning and feeding. There is plexiglass on all four sides, offering good views for cats and owners. It is also easily winterized, using foam together with the dog heater to keep temps comfortable during the winter months. The haven will keep temps 20+ degrees warmer than the air outside. Due to the size and added insulation, this cat haven is very heavy, but it easy to move around (on hard surface) and is equipped with four heavy duty caster wheels.
Why are we trying to find a home for this cat haven? We are moving out of the area, and will no longer have a need for the haven. We are offering this cat haven for FREE to someone who can and will use it. I have a pickup and trailer if someone needs help hauling it. I am not able to assist in loading or unloading the have, but I can haul it to nearby towns (Park City, Heber City, Kamas, Francis, Oakley, Peoa, Wanship, etc.) I live in Francis. If you have an interest, email me and I will respond right away. Thanks for considering.
