VenmoI have a 98-99 John Deere 4890 swather with an 890 header I’m looking at selling because I’m upgrading there’s 3,7xx hours on header and 4,7xx hours on machine itself. You can except the kind of wear and tear with those hours. But it does fire up great, A/C runs cold. Greased on a regular basis. The machine itself does leak hydraulic oil. Driver side front tire does leak air and usually needs filled up once or twice a year. Battery is disconnected every winter and header is wrapped to help protect it. Never had an electrical issues. In the pictures you can tell the header has taking some damage over the years finding random things in the hay before cutting. Have used mostly to cut alfalfa has seen a little oats and 3 way. Rubber conditioners, adjustable width on material chute. Will come with some odd and ends parts and two knife bars that are broke but the knives them selves only seen one season so would be completely fine as replacements.
