This is an Antique Singer Sewing machine, model 66, from 1928. I do not know if the cabinet is original or if it was made later. Writing inside the pulldown drawer indicates that this was at one time a school unit in the early to mid 1950s. The machine is not operational and would need a complete overhaul, however, this is a rather simple machine and I have been told that parts are still readily available. This still functions as an original condition display piece or conversation starter when open, and a functional side table or nightstand when closed. This has an accessory light kit, but the electrical cord has been cut, there is no foot pedal, and there is no key for the front lock (although it does open and close freely). There are no other included accessories, and no guarantees are made to the function or condition of the machine or its parts. This is being sold "AS-IS". As you can see in the photos, the condition is far from perfect, but could make for a good restoration project for someone or display well as a survivor relic.
This has been in my family for many years, but I no longer have the space for or a need to keep it and I'm letting it go to someone else who will give it the love and attention it deserves. Due to the size and weight of this item, it is being offered as local pickup only (no delivery). Please contact me if you have any questions or if you are interested in viewing it in person. Payment in Cash Only.
