I have a Japanese Harlequin doe and her 4 kits (from a Magpie Harlequin pairing). She kindled on 6/9, so these kits are just over a week old and growing like little weeds. The doe was born on 9/25/24, so almost 2 years old. (You would need to have your own nest box to transfer everyone to).
This doe has a been a wonderful mother to her litters and has been very consistent. She is a shy gal, but easily handled and let's you in and around her cage without any fuss, even with her kits. This was a bit of a difficult decision, but I'm choosing to focus more on my Netherland Dwarf and Satin lines at this time.
The Harlequin breed is a nice one to have around overall. They're great for meat, show, and pets. Just looking at their coats currently, some of these kits may be great for starting out on showing. They will grow to be a "medium" sized rabbit, maybe 6-8lbs.
Thank you so much for looking! Please don't hesitate to reach out if you had any questions, I'm typically more active in late afternoon and evenings.
