Apollo is a 3.5-year-old AKC German Shepherd who is not neutered. He is an incredibly loving, loyal, and goofy boy who loves being with his people. He currently lives with my senior female American Bulldog and does great with her. Unfortunately, he has become increasingly aggressive toward my other male German Shepherd and has started intentionally picking fights with him. Because of this, Apollo would do best in a home without other large male dogs. He may be okay as an only dog or with a compatible female dog. He does okay with children, but I believe he would be happiest in a home with older kids. Apollo is a wonderful dog with so much love to give. Unfortunately, I do not have the time or financial resources to pursue professional training he needs, so I feel finding him the right home is the best decision. I would strongly prefer that Apollo go to a home with previous German Shepherd experience and an understanding of the breed’s high maintenance. I am asking a $600 OBO rehoming fee to help ensure he goes to a stable, committed home where he will be loved and cared for. My priority is finding the right fit, and if for any reason the placement doesn’t work out, I will gladly take him back and continue searching for the perfect home.
