CashAppThe Flying Dutchman is a high-performance, 20 foot, two-person technical racing dinghy that was an Olympic class from 1960 to 1992. The hull is solid and overbuilt to take a beating racing at sea. Designed to plane easily upwind, the FD is often considered one of the fastest conventional monohull dinghies, capable of exceeding 20 knots. It weighs appx 290 lbs. with large sails and can utilize a trapeze. The FD was the first design to use a spinnaker bow chute and helped introduce the trapeze to Olympic sailing. Everything is complete with the exception of the boom. It has a jib and large Genoa. It has been stored outside so it’ll need a pressure wash and buff and some of the rigging may need to be replaced. The mast base is on the floor of the boat and has 3 positions to adjust the rake. It comes with the trailer which is in good condition.
