Raven – Sweet, Kid-Friendly Mare

Raven is an 11-year-old mare (turning 12) and has been one of the sweetest horses we’ve ever owned. She’s the definition of a “back-pocket horse” and loves attention and being around people.

She stands approximately 13 hands tall (I’ll get an exact measurement soon)I measured and it was 13.5 hands . Raven has participated in 4-H and has been to jackpot events. She has plenty of go when asked, but she’s also gentle enough that you can confidently put just about any child on her.

Raven has always been barefoot and has never needed shoes. We do regular trimmings.

She is easy to handle and has a kind, willing personality that makes her a favorite around the barn.

The only reason we’re offering Raven for sale is that we need to downsize our herd. This is a very hard decision, and we’d love to see her go to a family who will enjoy her as much as we have.
