PayPalDolly/ButterBee is a 4 year old green broke mare.
She is registered, 6 panel N/N
I love this mare and had big dreams for her but I’m a single mom and full time nursing student that’s running out of hay.
She’s beautiful, smart, and athletic. She really wants to please. She wants to be good.
She’s green due to lack of time, consistency and I don’t have the drive to train her.
She loads and unloads, but won’t back out of a trailer, gets impatient with the farrier but isn’t bad. I ride her every few months and she always picks it right back up like she didn’t sit for months. I started her on barrels, I’ve hauled her to rodeos and races, but she is buddy sour. She was weaned at 3 months so that explains why she’s buddy sour.
I have thrown a rope off of her a few times and it didn’t phase her. Her sire and dam were champion team roping horses. Her breeder said her great dam went to the NFR but I’m not sure.
At 2 years old she had a gnarly run in with a T post (I included pictures) The vet (John Murphy in Vernal Utah) said she’d be a solid breakaway horse and that her injury isn’t affecting her at all and she’s sound. He said if I wanted to make her a barrel horse that she might step past the first barrel if ran to the right. But was positive she’d make a solid breakaway horse. I have NOT noticed the past injury affecting her at all.
She gets her hooves, and teeth done regularly. Occasional massage therapy and Acuscope done.
Shes never been spooky. She is pretty solid. I have videos that are unedited to show everything. Within the first 2 circles of a lope she does little bunny hops but that’s about it. She used to have a really good stop and back up, but because I haven’t been consistent with her she’s a little rusty on that. I know she’ll make a great horse, just not for me. She loves my daughter, and will come running when she calls her name. She loves attention and whinnies when she sees us.
Video is on my YouTube.
