It's a very safe boat as it doesn't have a prop. Propulsion is all internal so swimming at the back of the boat is safe. Yamaha boats have a great back deck/swim platform and because there are no props, the draft is only 16 inches meaning it can operate in shallow water. This is a 24' boat but is much lighter than regular out drive or v-drive boats of similar size. Dry weight is about 4,000lbs so it pulls easily.
