VenmoSelling a classic late-90s (likely 1999) Specialized FSR Pro full-suspension mountain bike. This is a legendary frame design featuring the Max Drive aluminum tubing and the iconic FSR four-bar linkage system. It’s been built up with a beefier, retro downhill/freeride setup and is perfect for a vintage enthusiast, affordable beginner downhill bike, or anyone looking for a rugged throwback project bike. I’ve loved having it, and it always gets lots of looks when I take it on the summer ski lifts, but I’ve grown too fat and old to get it uphill.
Bike Highlights & Specs:
Condition:
The bike is in good, used mechanical shape and is structurally sound. As expected for a bike of this age, it has some cosmetic wear, paint nicks, and minor cable rub from normal trail use, but nothing that impacts the performance or integrity of the frame. The drivetrain has some surface rust on the chain from storage, which just needs a quick clean and lube to be smooth. With a little tune-up love, this could be a fun, affordable bike for anyone interested in getting into downhill without wanting to break the bank, or a great vintage wall-hanger for a classic MTB garage collection. Sold as-is.
Price: $200 OBO
