POWERBUILT HEAVY DUTY MOTORCYCLE LIFT JACKS have been discontinued, but for YEARS were rated the best overall motorcycle jack. I have a recent blogger website I can share that attests to that.
This jack is rated at 4,000 pound lifting capacity. It’s nice to use a jack rated over 4 times what you’ll be lifting. Sure, this jack is 20 years old, but it has only been used for my personal bikes and to help friends. Heavy Duty wheels, wheel axles, axle shafts, and pivot points are equipped with zerk fittings as shown in the pictures. One person can easily move a heavy bike while it is on the stand. Done it many times, safe and stable, no worry of it falling off/over. For storage, the maximum length of the unit from the rear wheel pads to the lowered front lifting pad is 49 inches. The widest point is from the tips of the front axle shafts at 31.5 inches. No cheap Chinese thin steel. Take a look at the thickness of the steel at the wheel pads supports. Make no mistake, this unit is heavy. Takes two strong men to pick this up.
There are 4 welded tie-down points on the jack, but I rarely used them. The jack is very stable and secure. Max height of the lifting platform with safety locks engaged is 21.2 inches. With the lifting platform lowered all the way down it is only 4.4 inches off the floor. You can easily position the lift under your Harley with the kick-stand down, begin to raise the bike slowly to level, then continue to raise it as needed. Once the repair/cleaning is done, (be sure the kick-stand is down) lower it back to the floor. Easy to do with just one person. I used this jack with my Electra-Glide Ultra, my Road Glide, and finally my Road King.
I have added a few things to make this jack even better. There are two lock-down pins to prevent the jack from rolling/moving around while you work on your bike. I wanted to keep these pins from scratching my floor so added pads for the pins. Also added a Harley brake pedal to the jack pedal. I paid almost $500 for this jack at the Laughlin River Run 20 years ago. Purchased it direct from PowerBuilt. I still believe this is the best motorcycle jack I have seen. Heavy steel tube, quality parts, excellent welds, should last a lifetime and MADE IN AMERICA. Do your research and see if there is one out there with the features this one has. If you are looking for a safe, sturdy, well-built, commercial, heavy-duty motorcycle jack, this is it.
I’m located in Hurricane, near the Intersection of Utah SR-9 X SR-7. Please text or call for an appointment. Cash only.
