2009 Arctic Cat Thundercat 1000. Plastics in great shape, new seat cover, rppin' machine. Please read all. I am over 3k into this machine but will consider a reasonable offer. Read below:

Full disclosure on this machine... I purchased it from an man in Grand Junction. I'll attach his add as a photo. He told me this machine won the Baja 500. It is a very fast muchine and slightly modified for that.

I purchased it several years ago. Last year, I got it into the mechanic to fix up. He did a lot of work on the machine. He ultimately had it running, BUT could not get it to come out of limp mode. These were his last messages to me:

"I have the Arctic Cat running, it throws the check engine light (EFI on this guy) and goes into a limp mode. Chased the sensors and electrical and it looks like the throttle position sensor isn’t sending any signals to the computer. I have one coming that will be here on the 10th (back ordered part) and hopefully that resolves that issue. Just an update on that guy. Other than that it fires right up and runs really well, drove it around quite a bit for diag and testing.

Arctic cat still has an EFI light with no codes, very confusing as it should run a self diagnostic and clear codes itself. This one may need to take a pit stop at a dealer to have them plug into it with the manufacturer computer to see what’s going on with it. Now that it runs it should be able to communicate with the system unlike before."

This machine was modified from a 4WD to a 2WD so it could race. It is still a 2WD.

I have not had the chance to get it into the dealer. I am hoping someone else has some time to get it in and have it reflashed (or whatever it needs done).
