Cocoa is a 3 year old brown swiss. she is in milk now. she was exposed to a certified black angus bull until 6/15. She is probably bred for the end of February but not confirmed by a vet. We haven’t seen her cycle so that’s why we’re guessing shes bred. She would be a great candidate for a milk machine. We hand milk and she has too short of a milk letdown time for us to milk her out. Shes not mean. We consider her as started halter broke. We can lead her around, shes learning. With a milk machine she would give over 6 gallons per day. Her milk is very yummy and gives good cream. Shes just not working out for us with hand milking. She will be available after july 10th as we’re weaning her calf who is not for sale.
