“Big Mac” is 15.3 hands 1300lbs. He’s a registered AQHA gelding. Mac has been part of our family for 3 years. He’s my 10 year old son’s barrel & pole horse. He is an excellent trail horse. We have an outfitting buisness and have used him as a trail horse in the Lee Metcalf Wilderness. He crosses bridges, water and is very good in steep terrain. He’s great around dogs & cattle. He is more whoa than go. Great for beginners, at home we would put anyone on him. He’s push style in barrels & poles. He’s running 3D with my son in barrels but he hasn’t asked him to really run. Running poles he’s automatic and runs 23’s for my son without asking for a lot of speed. Sometimes he hesitates in alley ways but will walk into the arena if you kick with confidence. We are selling him because my son is aging out of barrels & poles. Mac runs in a herd of mares & geldings. More dominant in a group. He’s good to shoe. Sound with zero maintenance.
