This beautiful machine dates back to 1934

The Remington models 3 and 4 were experimental machines

Unfortunately, as a result they were not placed in to the market

One of the most challenging Remington Standard models to locate is the portable No. 5 typewriter in this condition

This model’s beauty is what draws everyone to it

While it receives paper smoothly – the ribbon is dry and I am unable to produce a picture which shows actual type

The keys work well and nothing sticks

The carriage moves smoothly

This unit should be thoroughly inspected if it is to be used as a functioning typewriter
