“Bama” is a 2-year-old gelding with a friendly, easy-going personality and a bright future ahead of him. 🤎 We purchased Bama as a weanling from the AQHA Hall of Fame Raymond Sutton Ranch in South Dakota.
Bama is easy to catch and handle, loads right into the trailer, and has been packed multiple times in the woods. He has also been led around at the county arena and has consistently shown a gentle, willing attitude.
He has been trimmed regularly and stands well for the farrier. Bama is good to saddle and is comfortable wearing a britchen.
A couple of things to note: he has a small healed cut on his left foot that does not affect his soundness, as well as an old scar on his neck from an injury as a weanling. Neither has ever caused him any issues.
This is not an easy decision for our family. We are a young couple currently building a home , and our available time has become limited. Bama deserves someone who can continue investing time in him and help him reach his full potential.
For a 2-year-old, he truly has it all—AQHA papers, soundness, a willing disposition, and valuable early-life experience. ️
