Charming mid-century “Early American Colonial” style nightstand made by the historic Kling Furniture Company in Mayville, NY (circa 1950s). Built out of heavy, solid maple wood. Features classic turned spindle legs, a spacious open bottom shelf, and a sliding storage drawer with its original wooden button knob. The original 1950s paper label and the metal maker's badge are still attached inside the drawer!
Vintage condition with authentic character. Sturdy and fully functional. There is standard light scuffing/finish wear on the wood from normal use over the decades (around 70 years!). The bottom shelf has two minor age separations along the natural wood joints, but not all the way across, and the shelf remains very solid and stable.
Dimensions, measured at top: 27.3" High x 17" Wide x 14" Deep.
It’s fun to look under the top, the drawer, etc, to see the old-school craftsmanship!
