PayPal1984 Honda Nighhawk CB700SC – Recent overhaul, runs great
I’ve owned this Nighthawk for 3 years. It is in very good cosmetic shape and even better mechanically. Purchased for $2700, and I spent $4100 this past year (I have $6800 in). Selling. My loss is your gain. Asking $3,600. Tires have lots of tread. Here is a partial list of the work I had done this past year at a local SLC motorcycle restoration shop (I have full reports and receipts from the shop):
- Carburetors rebuilt and balanced.
- New fuel filter, oil filter, spark plugs
- New turn signal assemblies front and rear
- New brake lever, master cylinder, hydraulic lines
- New clutch lever, master cyclinder, hydraulic lines
- New fork seals
- New seat
- New mirrors
- Full inspection report (shows compression good)
The Nighhawk 700sc was innovative at the time with shaft drive, hydraulic clutch, oil reservoir in the frame, anti-dive brake caliper system, self-adjusting hydraulic valves. Cool color scheme. Come ride it and check it out. I have the side cover for the right side (which is often missing), but it needs a decal on it (which I have).
