Bought these new with ambitions of some Andes mountaineering expeditions. Used them once on a local winter hike, then stored them away. Life circumstances changed and never used them again. They are in nearly perfect condition. No damage, scuffs, or wear.
La Sportiva doesn't make the K4S anymore but the Nepal EVO GTX would be the most current equivalent. The EVO retails for $699.

The K4S features a Benecke CeraCom® industrial fabric upper, PTFE/200g 3M Thinsulate™/3-bar knit inner layer and a insole combination of insulating honeycomb and carbon fiber. In addition it features the EZ Flex removable velcro adjustable tongue and EZ System lace hardware. The Vibram sole has a lug pattern that contains small pyramidal shaped lugs that are supposed to be provide better plunge-stepping and better heel braking.
