This sweet boy just turned 3 years old in May. He is cuddly and absolutely loves to play fetch. A tennis ball is his greatest joy. Our kids are bigger kids, but he came from a home with small children and he does wonderfully with them. We’ve had guests with toddlers comment on how patient he is with them. He does well with other dogs, too. We’ve had him for about a year and he has gotten along great with our little dog, but she has started getting a bit aggressive with him. We’ve had her longer, so we need to find a new home for him. He is house-trained and crate-trained. He is not fixed, and apparently has AKC paperwork, which the previous owner said he’d pass on to us, or he offered to give us the contact info for the breeder. We can provide the previous owner’s info. We never bred this boy, but he’d make some gorgeous puppies. He is very affectionate and calm in the house, but has young dog excitement when offered a game of fetch. I don’t think he was walked much before we got him, but he has improved much with a face harness, which we will provide. He will need a tall, fully-fenced yard and will need to be leashed when he leaves the house. When he has gotten out of our yard, he likes to roam and is a free and adventurous spirit. He has always come back, however, a tall fenced yard is recommended for that reason. He does so well as a house dog; he’d likely do well in an apartment as long as he got out daily for walks or play at a dog park or enclosed space. He’s a great companion dog. He is used to daily walks and interaction/play. We are only allowing him to go to a home ready to give him lots of love. He is a lover boy, after all.
