ApplePayThis is brooks he is a 4 year old Great Dane his birthday is January 16th 2022. He is up to date on his shots and rabies and is currently fixed. No stomach tack.
Brooks is friendly with dogs of all sizes, good with kids ages 5+ that I am aware of. His favorite game is a cat lazer and chasing it around for 20-30 minute before he passes out and takes a big nap.
Brooks loves to be affectionate he won’t give kisses but he will lay his head in your lap or give you his paw to show his love. He is kennel trained and finds comfort in his crate and gets all his meals in his kennel.
He knows how to sit, lay down, give paw and wait. I have been fostering Brooks for the last few months and it has been hard not to add him to our pack. But would love to find him a home where he isn’t crated 10+ hours a day.
Brooks isn’t good with ducks or chickens and I haven’t seen how he is with cats, may be something he can learn to be nice around but would rather be upfront about his cons.
He came from a situation I believe he was feared of men, since he has been in my care, I have worked with him the last 6 months around males and strangers to gain his confidence back and he’s been such a good boy adjusting.
