PayPalSelling a 2001 Blue Bird All American FE full size school bus for $7,500 OBO equipped with the legendary 5.9L Cummins and Allison 3000 heavy duty commercial powertrain capable of carrying 36,000lbs GVWR. Currently has approximately 200k miles on it.
The interior has been completely stripped and is a blank canvas ready for any project.
Features & Details:
- Brand new heavy duty batteries
- Wheelchair lift- Includes a commercial Ricon wheelchair lift. It is currently disconnected with the wiring removed, but it goes with the bus and worked great at the time I disconnected and removed it (was removed to properly address floor and floor plans for a rear garage had changed.)
- There are no leaks (air or fluids) Body has some typical rust including the floor pan primarily near wheel wells. (problem spots are pictured in listing)
Full Disclosure:
The bus has 50 gallons (half tank) of diesel that has been sitting for around six years (when I bought the bus). I have chemically shock treated the fuel with biocide and cetane booster/stabilizer to mitigate water and algae. However, because the biocide kills any potential algae, it might clog the fuel filters. It is advised to bring spare fuel filters if you intend to drive it a long distance home.
