VenmoI am selling my upgraded Gold Tone CC-Carlin 12" Banjo (MSRP $849), TLK hard-shell case (MSRP $209), two heads, strap, tuner, and a spare set of strings. It's a road-ready kit for an intermediate player! Standard banjos have an 11" diameter pot, and if you've never played a 12" banjo, you're in for a treat. The main benefits I've noticed with the 12" banjo is an overall warmer tone and more full low-end response.
EXTRAS/UPGRADES
- TKL hardshell case
- 5th string capo "railroad spikes" at frets 7, 9, and 10
- professional "speed neck" conversion
- strap
- extra strings
- clip-on tuner
- removed the "zeroglide" nut and replaced it with a high-quality slotted nut
- including two different heads (original renaissance head, and a Remo Black Suede Banjo Head that is currently installed)
SPECS:
Nut Width: 1-3/8"
Neck Material: Maple with two-way adjustable truss rod
Fretboard: Rosewood with a terminal scoop for drop-thumbing / clawhammer playing
Frets: 18
Rim: 12" maple
Tone Ring: 12" Rolled Brass Flat Bar
Head: 12"
Brackets: 24 chrome-plated brackets
Tailpiece: Vintage style
Armrest: Gold Tone Engraved
