It was engineered by the elite Parisian firm Établissements Albert Butin and features a heavy-duty black cast iron/steel body, a solid cylindrical copper chimney, and a domed solid brass top ventilator cap.This specific lantern carries incredible historical provenance, featuring its original, hand-riveted arched brass identification tag stamped: "CAEN EX N° 96" (assigned to the vital Caen railway hub and maintenance depot in Normandy, France—a critical logistical hub during WWII reconstruction).
