PayPalAntique WWI U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Zenith Pocket Watch – Military Issue #13073 Up for sale is a genuine, historically significant World War I era Zenith pocket watch, custom-contracted for the United States Army Corps of Engineers. This watch features the early government procurement stamped property number 13073 on the back of the case. It is being sold entirely as-is for parts, restoration, or historical display.
Condition: Movement / Running Status: Non-running. The mechanism does not tick and is being sold as unrestored. Dial: Original white dial with bold, period-correct luminous Arabic numerals. Please note there is visible enamel/paint chipping located specifically at the 4 o'clock marker. Hands: Features the original, matching Cathedral-style hands.Crystal (Glass): The glass crystal is cracked and damaged on the right side (near the 2 to 4 o'clock positions) and will require replacement by the buyer. Case: Original case showing natural patina, wear, and pocket use consistent with a century-old military artifact. Notes to Buyers: This watch belonged to my brother-in-law and was passed down to me. I've had it for about a year now and have decided to sell it. I do not know it's history. I have explicitly chosen not to polish, clean, or alter the watch in order to preserve its historical integrity and original patina for the next owner. I have not opened the internal case back to check the movement serial number to avoid causing any accidental damage.
