Belgian Malinois Seeking Experienced, Loving Home

Cosmo is a 1-year-and-2-month-old Belgian Malinois who is incredibly sweet, affectionate, loyal, and deeply bonded to her people. I adopted her when she was three months old, and this is an extremely difficult decision.

Cosmo is kennel trained, potty trained, spayed, and up to date on her vaccinations. She does very well with other dogs and regularly goes to the dog park. She has also lived around children since she was a puppy.

I want to be fully transparent that Cosmo is very protective and reactive, and she has bitten a few people. I believe this is largely related to her needing more consistent training, structure, exercise, and mental stimulation than I am currently able to provide. Because of her bite history and her breed’s energy level, she needs an experienced adult owner who understands Belgian Malinois, working breeds, reactivity, and positive, structured training. She should not go to a first-time dog owner.

Cosmo needs plenty of secure space to run and someone who can provide exercise and enrichment multiple times each day. She has so much love to give and deserves a home that has the time, experience, and resources to help her feel secure and successful.

There is no rehoming fee. My priority is finding the right loving and responsible home. She will come with her kennel. I will ask questions about your experience, household, other animals, fencing, and plans for training before agreeing to place her.
